Eye Mantra is offering an Internship in Clinical Optometry for students and recent graduates seeking hands-on experience in a professional eye care setting. This internship provides the opportunity to work alongside experienced optometrists, assisting in comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing visual conditions, prescribing corrective lenses under supervision, and contributing to patient care management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior optometrists in conducting comprehensive eye examinations.
• Perform preliminary vision tests, including refraction, visual acuity checks, and tonometry.
• Support in diagnosing and managing common ocular conditions.
• Educate patients on proper eye care, contact lens usage, and vision therapy.
• Assist in fitting and dispensing corrective lenses and contact lenses.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical documentation.
• Participate in research, case discussions, and clinical training sessions.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry.
• Strong knowledge of basic optometry concepts and clinical procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and adapt to patient needs.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
