ClearSight Gift – Gift of clear vision through eyeglass donations, free eye checkups
In line with our commitment to Eye care and community welfare, Eye Mantra Foundation is proud to introduce the Clear Vision Initiative. This initiative aims to provide free or subsidised eyeglasses to individuals in need, ensuring access to clear vision and improving the quality of life for those facing visual impairment.
Mission & Objectives
Ensure that individuals, particularly those from underserved communities, have access to affordable and high-quality eyeglasses to correct refractive errors and improve vision.
Promote equity in eye care by addressing barriers to access and providing glasses to individuals who may otherwise be unable to afford them.
Empower individuals with visual impairment to lead independent and productive lives by providing them with the tools they need for clear vision and enhanced sight.
Raise awareness about the importance of vision care and the availability of eyeglasses as a solution to correct refractive errors and improve overall eye health.
Program Components
Needs Assessment
Conduct surveys and assessments to identify communities and individuals in need of eyeglasses, taking into account factors such as age, income level, and prevalence of visual impairment.
Partnerships
Forge partnerships with eyewear manufacturers, optical retailers, and other organizations to procure eyeglasses at discounted rates or through donations.
Screening and Prescription
Eye Mantra offers vision screening and eye examinations at distribution events to assess individuals’ vision needs and prescribe appropriate eyeglasses based on their refractive error.
Education and Follow-Up
Offer educational materials and guidance on proper eyeglass care and maintenance, as well as follow-up services to address any concerns or adjustments needed post-distribution.

So far we have served 30,000+ lives through our eye care camps and 10,000+ free glasses distribution. Blindness does not discriminate when choosing its’ victims. Millions of adults and children are impacted. We have set a goal to grow our monthly donations by ₹1500.00 per month.
One Cataract Surgery
₹780/- per month will sponsor 1 cataract surgery annually.
Eye Exam
₹340 per month funds eye exams for 30 children annually.
Cataract Kits
₹3470 per month sponsors 8 cataract kits for 40 operations annually.
Transportation
₹6940 per month provides transportation to clinics for treatment annually.
