In acknowledgment of the critical role that clear vision plays in road safety, Eye Mantra Foundation is proud to introduce a pioneering initiative—Eye Care Camps and Surgeries for Heavy Vehicle Drivers. This initiative aims to address the vision needs of heavy vehicle drivers, enhance road safety, and promote their overall well-being.
Our mission is to ensure that heavy vehicle drivers have access to comprehensive eye care services, including screenings, treatments, and surgeries.
Mission & Objectives
Conducting comprehensive eye screenings to detect vision impairments and eye conditions among heavy vehicle drivers.
Providing access to affordable and high-quality eye treatments, including cataract surgeries, corrective procedures, and provision of eyeglasses.
Enhancing road safety by improving the vision of heavy vehicle drivers, reducing the risk of accidents and injuries caused by impaired vision.
Engaging with local communities, transportation authorities, and healthcare providers to raise awareness about the importance of eye care and road safety.
Program Components
Eye Care Camps
Organizing eye care camps at strategic locations along major transportation routes, where heavy vehicle drivers can undergo free eye screenings by Eye Mantra’s qualified ophthalmologists and optometrists.
Diagnostic Services
Providing diagnostic services such as visual acuity tests, refraction assessments, and intraocular pressure measurements to assess drivers’ vision health.
Treatment Services
Offering treatment options tailored to drivers’ needs, including provision of eyeglasses, medical management of eye conditions, and referral for surgical interventions when necessary.
Follow-Up Care
Ensuring continuity of care through follow-up visits, post-operative care, and monitoring of drivers’ vision health over time.

Till now we have worked with organisation for providing eye care to their truck drivers, and local communities for providing eye care to rickshaw pullers, etc. Through this initiative we have touched 5000+ lives through 80+ camps in various locations across the country

Eye Exam
₹340 per month funds eye exams for 30 children annually.
Cataract Kits
₹3470 per month sponsors 8 cataract kits for 40 operations annually.
Transportation
₹6940 per month provides transportation to clinics for treatment annually.
