Floor Manager / Co-ordinator
Job Summary:
The Floor Manager / Coordinator at Eye Mantra will be responsible for overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of the hospital floor, managing patient flow, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining high standards of patient care and service delivery. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently manage a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Floor Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations on the hospital floor, ensuring efficient patient movement and workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Coordinate with reception, nursing staff, and doctors to ensure timely patient check-ups and procedures.
Patient Handling & Service Excellence:
- Ensure a seamless patient experience from entry to discharge.
- Address patient concerns and grievances effectively, escalating when necessary.
- Assist in patient counseling regarding appointments, follow-ups, and procedures.
Staff Coordination & Supervision:
- Supervise and guide front desk executives, housekeeping, and support staff.
- Ensure all staff adhere to hospital policies and SOPs.
- Conduct briefings and assign daily tasks to the team.
Coordination with Medical & Non-Medical Departments:
- Liaise with doctors, nurses, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Ensure that required medical equipment and materials are available and in good condition.
- Work with the pharmacy, diagnostic labs, and insurance teams to ensure smooth coordination.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain records of daily patient visits, appointments, and escalations.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports for management review.
- Ensure documentation is in compliance with hospital standards.
Emergency Handling:
- Respond effectively to any medical or operational emergencies on the floor.
- Ensure emergency protocols are followed properly.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setup in a similar role.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations effectively.
- Proficiency in hospital management software and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in an eye hospital or ophthalmology setup is a plus.
- Leadership qualities with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Patient-centric approach with a focus on service excellence.
