Tribal School Children’s Eye Screening Program
About the Project
Giribala Arogya Raksha is a vision screening program for tribal school children launched by the Government of Telangana, coordinated by Pushpagiri Vitreo Retina Institute, and supported by Eyemantra.org
The program focused on 467 schools which cater exclusively to tribal children. Vision screening and vision correction was offered free of cost with the support of Eyemantra.org.

Pushpagiri Vitreo Retina Institute (PVRI) is a not-for-profit super specialty eye hospital which aims to deliver quality eye care to the society. The group comprises of three centers located at Secunderabad, Vizianagaram and Hyderabad.
